The survey results indicated that the most sought after workshops were Fixtures, Dealing with Conflict, Budgeting, Newspaper Results & Stories, and Social Media.
Workshops arranged for June 2017 are:
- 8 June – Financial Planning
- 15 June – Social Media
- 26 June – Grant and sponsorship writing
The annual program for 2017/18 is under construction and we will provide a link to the calendar once it's available.

Phoebe Abbey’s House is a Category 1 (the highest level of significance) place on the City of Busselton’s Heritage List and is located in Seymour Street, West Busselton.
All community feedback received will assist the Phoebe Abbey’s House working group with looking into options for the preservation of this heritage site over the long term.

The Draft NMP (2017) was presented to Council on 8 February, 2017 and endorsed for public comment.
The Draft NMP (2017) was available for public comment and closed on the 19th March 2017.
The NMP and all submissions were presented to Council on the 22 March 2017. The Council endorsed the NMP subject to noting the 124 submissions, plus 3 late submissions received by the City of Busselton during the public comment period and that the following amendments to the NMP Standard Hours of Operations; Table 2 - Operational Limitations and Approved Parameters be made.

On 12 April 2017, the City's Council adopted the Strategic Community Plan 2017. The new plan gives our community a strong sense of direction and navigates us toward 2030 with confidence and a shared knowledge of where we are heading.
