Collection Notice – Draft Local Planning Scheme No. 22 (LPS22)
The City of Busselton collects personal information through this submission process under the Planning and Development Act 2005 and the Planning and Development (Local Planning Schemes) Regulations 2015 for the purpose of receiving, assessing and responding to submissions on Draft Local Planning Scheme No. 22.
The information collected may include your name, address, contact details, the content of your submission and any supporting documents you provide.
Under the Planning and Development (Local Planning Schemes) Regulations 2015, a formal submission must include the submitter's name and address and the capacity in which the submission is made. If this information is not provided, the City may be unable to accept your submission as a formal submission.
Your information is used to:
- acknowledge and manage your submission;
- consider the matters you raise as part of the LPS22 advertising process;
- contact you if further information or clarification is required; and
- support the statutory planning decision-making process, including consideration of submissions by authorised City officers, Council Elected Members, the Western Australian Planning Commission (WAPC) and the Department of Planning, Lands and Heritage (DPLH).
Your submission and personal information will become a record of the City of Busselton and may be included in reports and schedules prepared as part of the statutory planning process. Information may be disclosed where required and authorised by law.
