YOU CHOOSE community funding program
Thank you to residents and ratepayers for taking part in allocating part of the City of Busselton’s community funding budget to community led projects you would like to see funded through this pilot program.
With 26 Projects to choose from, the community cast 1277 eligible votes and Council considered the community preferred projects on 9th March.
Congratulations to the successful applicants for the six projects totalling $96,304 as preferred by the community and endorsed by Council:
- Shelterbags $20,000
- Pets of Older Persons (POOPS) $7,750
- Busselton Hospice Care Lasting Words $10,875
- Waste Not Want Not $20,000
- Ludlow Tuart Forest Heritage Walk trail $18,596
- Vasse Fathering Projects $19,083
Successful applicants have until June 2023 to complete their projects. The Council will then consider whether to continue the program in future years.
