YOU CHOOSE community funding program

Residents and Ratepayers this is your chance to allocate part of the City of Busselton’s community funding budget to projects you would like to see funded.

Voting closes at 5pm on Thursday, 17th February, 2022

Please note - we recommend that you use a desktop computer to complete the voting.

How to Vote for your preferred projects

To get started click the “Get Started” button below and refer to the ‘how to’ guide 1 to 5 here:

1. Read through the 26 projects by clicking the information icon next to each project title, then click ‘MORE DETAILS’ to find out what the project will bring to the community.

2. You have $100,000 to spend on your favourite projects. Click ‘Select’ on the projects you would like to see funded until you have spent as much of the $100,000 as you can.

To change your mind unselect the project by clicking ‘Select’ once more. The amount allocated for that project will be returned to your remaining budget.

When you have spent as much of the $100,000 budget as you can the option to select projects is removed.

3. You can also prioritise your selections at the bottom of the page. Click and drag the project to your preferred priority order.

4. When you are happy with your selections click ‘Submit’.

5. To ensure you are a resident or ratepayer of the City we need to collect some basic information. Please be assured this information will only be used to verify your eligibility to participate.

We would also like to know what you think about this program and whether you think it should continue in the future.

Remember the You Choose program is about creating community, it isn’t about just voting for projects that you are connected with in some way. Vote for the projects you think will have a positive impact on the community. You have $100,000 to spend and this is your chance to make it count.

If you need some help a ‘how to vote’ video is available under 'videos'.
