The City is developing a new Sustainability and Environment Strategy and is inviting the community to help shape a healthier, cleaner and more sustainable future. To do this we will be conducting a range of engagement activities with our stakeholders to capture the values and priorities of our diverse community.

The online survey opens Tuesday 24 February 2026, to ensure the whole community has an opportunity to share their perspectives and help inform the Strategy in their own time.

In addition to this a series of workshops will be held with key stakeholder groups to capture their ideas, concerns and aspirations across the Strategy's five key focus areas being:

  • Water
  • Energy
  • Trees and Vegetation
  • Environmental Resilience
  • Conservation

These conversations will help us understand what matters most to our community and identify opportunities for meaningful action.

Together, this feedback will guide the development of a forward‑thinking Sustainability and Environment Strategy that is relevant to the community and supports a thriving future for the City of Busselton.
