Welcome to the Yallingup Townsite Review Questionnaire.

In response to concerns regarding emergency service vehicle access within the Yallingup townsite, the City is considering a potential change to parking management within the Yallingup townsite.

Feedback is being sought from landowners and residents in the Yallingup townsite, in the form of submissions, relating to the proposed introduction of ‘no stopping’ controls on the downslope (western) sides of Elsegood Avenue, Hammond Road & Wardanup Crescent.

The purpose of this is to ensure that these roads do not become impassable to emergency services vehicles, which can occur now when cars are parked on both sides of the road. The reason that the downslope side is proposed is to preserve visibility for those exiting driveways from properties on the downslope side.

It should be noted that, where it is physically possible to do so, vehicles will still be able to park on the verge on both sides of the road, but only with the consent of the adjoining landowner or resident.

Submissions in relation to this proposal can be lodged in the form of a completed questionnaire either online (by taking the questionnaire here) or in hard copy.

Hard copy questionnaires can be downloaded and are also available at the Customer Information Centre at 38 Peel Terrace, Busselton and from the Busselton and Dunsborough Libraries. Completed questionnaires can be returned to either of these locations.

The submission period remains open until 31 October, 2016.
