Local Planning Policy 4.1 - Unhosted Short-Term Rental Accommodation (STRA)

Council at its meeting held on the 11th of December 2024, consented to the advertising of an amendment to City of Busselton Local Planning Scheme No.21 and the Local Planning Policy 4.1 – Holiday Homes (LPP4.1) following amendments made to the Planning and Development (Local Planning Schemes) Regulations 2015 (the Regulations).

A report on the outcomes of consultation and recommended modifications was presented back to Council at it's meeting of 12 March 2025 where Council resolved to readvertise the draft LPP4.1 with further modifications. Readvertising occured between 2 April to 30 April 2025.

City officers will review the feedback received during readvertising and make any necessary revisions to the draft policy before submitting it to the Council for final adoption. You can read further information on LPP 4.1 on the project page here.
