The realignment of the 'Bussell Highway' around the growing Vasse Development has prompted a proposal to rename sections of two roads within Vasse. The roads proposed to be renamed are a section of Vasse-Yallingup Siding Road and the 'Old' Busselton Highway south of the roundabout and through the Vasse village centre.

We would like to know to few things. Firstly, do you support or not support the proposal to rename the roads within Vasse. Secondly, any suggestions for road names. And thirdly, any other comments and ideas you may have regarding the proposal.

  • Submission/Survey - Proposal to rename roads within Vasse

    Let us know what you think about the proposal to rename roads within Vasse.

    The sections of roads proposed to be renamed are marked on the map as 'Road A', 'Road B', 'Road C' and 'Road D'.

    Some names already suggested include Trade, Education, Windelup and Batfish. But we want to know what you think?  Remember though that all names must comply with the 'Policies and Standards for Geographical Naming in Western Australia'.  For example, the name may not be duplicated within a 50km radius of the road to be named.
