DRAFT LOCAL PLANNING POLICY

STORMWATER MANAGEMENT


Pursuant to Schedule 2 of the Planning and Development (Local Planning Schemes) Regulations 2015, Council has adopted, for the purposes of community consultation, LLP Stormwater Management Policy on the 12th August 2020.


The purpose of this Policy is to outline the minimum requirements for stormwater management to ensure:

  • Safe and effective management of the quantity and quality of storm water runoff; and
  • Adequate protection for people and property from flooding; and
  • Stormwater runoff does not adversely impact the quality of the receiving waters, including groundwater, waterways, wetlands, Lower Vasse River and the Geographe
