DRAFT LOCAL PLANNING POLICY

STORMWATER MANAGEMENT

Pursuant to Schedule 2 of the Planning and Development (Local Planning Schemes) Regulations 2015, Council has adopted, for the purposes of community consultation, LLP Stormwater Management Policy on the 12^th August 2020.

The purpose of this Policy is to outline the minimum requirements for stormwater management to ensure:

• Safe and effective management of the quantity and quality of storm water runoff; and
• Adequate protection for people and property from flooding; and
• Stormwater runoff does not adversely impact the quality of the receiving waters, including groundwater, waterways, wetlands, Lower Vasse River and the Geographe Bay.
