Lower Vasse River Survey

As part of the Revitalising Geographe Waterways Program, the City has been working with the community and other partners in developing a draft vision and management objectives for the Lower Vasse River. They will inform the development of a water management plan for the Lower Vasse River.

The Lower Vasse River flows through the centre of Busselton into the internationally significant Vasse-Wonnerup Wetland System. The river is highly valued by the local community and has historically been an iconic feature of the town and focal point for recreational and social events. This section of the river In recent decades has had poor water quality with annual blue-green algal blooms over summer months.

We're inviting the community to review the draft vision and management objectives in a quick survey to ensure the work to date is aligned with community’s expectations for the future management of the Lower Vasse River.

Every participant who takes part in the survey will go in the draw to WIN a family pass to the Underwater Observatory courtesy of the Busselton Jetty!

You are also welcome to complete the Toby Inlet Survey.
