Expression of Interest - Busselton Jetty Tourist Park Sale of Two Cabins

The City of Busselton (City) is seeking Expressions of Interest (EOI) for the purchase and removal of two cabins from Busselton Jetty Tourist Park.

The successful Applicant will be required to (at their cost):

• Remove the cabins from their current location (by way of mobilisation of the built structures as a whole or in sections) including arranging for the disconnection of the electrical and water services;
• Reinstate and rehabilitate the area of land on which the cabins are located to the reasonable satisfaction of the City by no later than 8 November 2024;
• Organise and arrange for appropriate traffic management during the removal and relocation of the cabins as required by the City;
• Assume all risk in relation to the removal of the cabins;
• Take out and maintain required insurances (or ensure that all contractors engaged maintain the required insurances) as required by the City in respect of the removal of the cabins and the buildings, including Public Liability insurance (with a minimum value of $10,000,000 and Workers Compensation Insurance (as required by law).

Offers will be considered by the City to determine whether any offer would be to the City’s advantage and, if so, may result in negotiations with the preferred proponent(s) with the view of entering into an agreement with the City.

Cabin locations

The cabins are located at Busselton Jetty Tourist Park, 2 Brown Street, Busselton WA 6280. The exact locations of the cabins are depicted at “Park Home 2” and “Park Home 8” in Photos- Park Map.
