The City of Busselton has received a Development Assessment Panel (DAP) application to use and/or develop land for the following purpose and public comments are invited.
PROPERTY: Lot 4 Diagram 67745 No. 2774 Caves Road Yallingup WA
PROPOSED DEVELOPMENT: Industry - Extractive (Sand)
The proposal includes the following:
- 9.14ha of sand extraction area divided into 5 stages.
- Approximately 453,000m3 of sand to be extracted from the sand pit over 5 years.
- 0.25Ha of native vegetation clearing.
- The proposed haulage along internal gravel road, before exiting on to Wyadup Road and travelling east to Caves Road.
- A maximum 200 truck haulage movements per day (10 trucks entering and exiting the site per hour).
The application will be determined under the Planning and Development (Development Assessment Panels) Regulations 2011 by the Regional Development Assessment Panel. If you make a submission, you will be advised in writing of the date and time of the determination meeting.
