What’s a Community Engagement Framework?
It’s an overarching document that guides the planning and implementation of engagement initiatives around City projects, strategies and decision making.
Why is it important?
It sets out Council’s commitment to engagement and establishes a common understanding of what engagement at the City of Busselton looks like.
Where are we at?
The City is developing a draft framework which aligns to Council’s Community Engagement Policy. We’ve revisited past consultation and researched similar frameworks across Local Government, but we need your input to make sure the framework, once endorsed by Council is broadly supported.
