Draft Community Engagement Framework

The City's Community Engagement Framework is now available for comment.

What’s a Community Engagement Framework?

It’s an overarching document that guides the planning and implementation of engagement initiatives around City projects, strategies and decision making.

The document supports the Council endorsed Community Engagement Policy and was developed with community input, through independently facilitated community engagement sessions that were rolled out May this year. During these sessions, we asked you for your views around engagement, what it means, and when and how it is best delivered.

Your feedback helped to shape the development of the City’s first Community Engagement Framework, which is based on IAP2 engagement principles.

Council now wants to know what you think of the framework.

Being involved is important, as once the Draft is adopted, it will guide the direction of Council's engagement.
