The Tails of the City project is an initiative by the City of Busselton aimed at improving animal management practices through broad community participation.
Thank you to all community members who participated in our initial Tails of the City survey in August 2024. Since the closure of the survey, Officers have conducted analysis of feedback provided. With a report presented to the council (18 September 2024) setting the directional focuses for management over summer with the Council supporting the development of an animal management plan.
This feedback from last year's survey, combined with data captured during the December 2024/January 2025 summer period, will assist in the development of the City's first Animal Management Plan (AMP).
The City is now inviting Expressions of Interest (EOI) to attend a series of workshops to discuss key issues, objectives and priorities to be developed into the plan. Workshop attendees will also run through the data captured above to assist with their discussions.
