Consultation has concluded

In 2010 the City entered into a legal agreement with Mary Donald Nominees Pty Ltd, the developers of the “Via Vasse” residential area, requiring the two “Via Vasse” entry statements along Paterson Drive be decommissioned upon completion of the subdivision works for the estate.

As all lots have now been created, and the subdivision works finalised, the City is considering executing the requirements of the agreement which will require the developer to remove/decommission the entry statements shown in the images below:

Prior to the City advising the developer to go ahead with the decommissioning of the entry statements, the City would like to give the residents in the area the opportunity to submit a comment or feedback on this plan. The City holds a bond from the developer to finance the decommissioning works which will also include replanting disturbed areas impacted by these works.

Should the signage not be decommissioned the on-going maintenance of the entry statements would become the responsibility of the City which up until now has been financed by the developer.

Please complete the form below to indicate if you support the decommissioning or if you would like the signs to remain. Submissions close on the 30th July 2021.

We look forward to your response.
