Council Resolution 29 April 2026 You Choose 2025/2026
Eight community‑led projects will share $100,000 in funding through the City of Busselton’s You Choose Community Funding Program, with residents directly deciding where the money went. Council endorsing the decision at the Ordinary Council Meeting on 29 April 2026.

More than 1,000 community members took part in the online voting process, virtually “spending” the budget by selecting and ranking the projects they felt would make the greatest local impact.

All successful recipients:
1.Latitude 33.7 Physiotherapy – Move Beyond Cancer ($19,500)
2.Cycling without Age Dunsborough – Pilot Project ($20,000)
3.Solaris Cancer Centre – Complementary Therapy (Busselton Therapy Bed) ($5,364)
4.Radiance Network – 1:1 In‑home Support Outreach Program ($18,960)
5.Busselton Population Medical Research Institute – Interactive Journey of Past and Future Discoveries ($19,900)
6.Reconnect to Nature – Gardening with Wildlife Workshop ($2,039)
7.Friends of Meelup – Fire Effects on Soil Microbiome Diversity ($10,000)
8.Busselton Greyhound Awareness – Foster Care Packs ($4,237)
