Tails of the City- Dog Management Signage

Work with us to improve dog management signage!

As part of the Council’s February 2026 decision to adjust Dog Beach Exercise Areas, the City is seeking expressions of interest from community members to take part in a workshop focused on signage design for our dog beaches, beach access paths, and sporting grounds.

During previous consultation, we heard your feedback that some of our current signage can be confusing. We’re committed to improving this and want to work with the community to develop clear, easy-to-understand signage that better supports everyone who uses these shared spaces.

The workshop will include:
- A breakdown of what came out of our 2025 signage audit
- An overview of feedback previously received on signage
- Identifying locations for signage relating to dog beaches, beach access paths, and sporting grounds
- Explore different designs and understand what elements work best

The workshop is expected to be held in early June 2026. If you are interested in being part of this workshop, please email city@busselton.wa.gov.au with the subject heading: ‘Dog signage workshop’ by 5.00pm 29 May 2026.
