Busselton is growing, and so can you!

Our City's population is growing, and we see more visitors who spend more and stay longer. Along with increased east coast flights, many new developments are underway, including Saltwater Performing Arts Centre, Busselton Central, St John of God Vasse and the foreshore precinct, expanding your business's trading opportunity.

When we think about 'the economy', we usually think of what happens during daylight hours (6.00 am to 6.00 pm). However, the economy continues at night, as do vibrant cities. At night, places take on a different pace, function and atmosphere, and these changing dynamics create more business opportunities.

A strong night-time economy plays a vital role in enhancing the vitality of our town centres, stimulating economic growth, and increasing employment opportunities. It includes a range of businesses like entertainment and dining venues, 24hr gyms, food/beverage delivery services, retailers, music/ cultural events, transport operators and emergency service providers.

The City wants to help grow and diversify our night-time experiences to ensure we offer vibrant, safe and connected spaces for all to enjoy.

As a first step in understanding our night offering and the existing experiences, challenges and opportunities, we need your feedback. Please take this short survey to help us shape strategies for a thriving after-dark offering for your business and the community.
