A policy prepared by local governments in WA with information about planning matters to provide guidance on the way planning proposals may be assessed by the council.

Prepared by the Western Australian Planning Commission (WAPC) to outline the intended scale and type of development that should occur on a lot of land. R-Codes apply to all residential development in Western Australia.

The minimum horizontal distance a building is required to be constructed from a boundary, neighbouring properties, natural or man-made feature.
