Local Law Review 2025

The City is required to periodically review its local laws. Three local laws are currently due for review – the Health Local Law 1997(External link), Jetties Local Law 2014(External link), and Cemeteries Local Law 2015(External link).

The review process requirements include providing public notice of the review. Click here to view the official public notification, the existing Local Laws (External Link) and to provide feedback that may assist the review process. Depending on the outcome of the public consultation and review, amendments may be proposed to each local law individually, with further public notice of the changes to be provided.

Notice is hereby given under section 3.16 of the Local Government Act 1995 that the City of Busselton proposes to review its Health Local Laws 1997, Jetties Local Law 2014, and Cemeteries Local Law 2015.

A copy of the local laws may be inspected or a copy obtained here or at the City’s Administration Office located at 2 Southern Drive, Busselton between the hours of 8.30am and 4.30pm Monday to Friday or at any public library within the City of Busselton district during normal opening hours.

Submissions about the local law will be received by the Chief Executive Officer, Southern Drive, Busselton until no later than 17 October 2025.
