DRAFT LOCAL DEVELOPMENT PLAN AVAILABLE FOR PUBLIC COMMENT


Pursuant to Local Planning Scheme No. 21, the City of Busselton invites public comment on a draft Local Development Plan for Lot 590 Spinnaker Boulevard Geographe, Mixed Use Site (Proposed Lot 102).

The Draft Local Development plan has been prepared consistent with condition of subdivision approval requiring the preparation and approval of a Local Development Plan over the subject land to facilitate the delivery of mixed use development by providing for –

  1. Controls on the built form interface to the marina edge and foreshore reserve, including minimum setback requirement and maximum 4 Storey building height;
  2. Minimum 3.1m AHD finished floor level for habitable rooms;
  3. Building orientation and activation facing the foreshore reserve;
  4. Pedestrian access linkages through the site to provide public access to the foreshore reserve; and
  5. Vehicular access location.

Please be aware that details of your submission may be made available to the applicant for the opportunity to respond. In certain instances, your submission may also be used to form part of a Council report making it a public document.
