DRAFT LOCAL DEVELOPMENT PLAN AVAILABLE FOR PUBLIC COMMENT


Pursuant to Local Planning Scheme No. 21, the City invites public comment on a draft Local Development Plan for Part Lot 9001 Commonage Road, Dunsborough.

The Dunsborough Lakes Structure Plan requires the preparation of a Local Development Plan over a portion of Lot 9001 Commonage Road, Dunsborough that has been identified for a future expansion of the Dunsborough Enterprise Park.

The Draft Local Development Plan proposes to facilitate the delivery of development consistent with the objectives of the Service Commercial zone on the lots subject to the Local Development Plan by providing for –

• Rear laneway to Lots 118-121 to Commonage Road;

• Car parking for lots fronting Faure Lane/Congressional Drive;

• Rationalisation of crossovers to lots fronting Commonage Road

• Interface between ‘Service Commercial’ and ‘Residential’ lots;

• Car bays either side of a central 6m access road; and

• Car parking requirements and contributions.
