Help design new artwork for Kent Street Bus Stop!

Following consultation in May 2026 for ideas for a new artwork design at the Kent Street Bus Stop, a concept design has been developed that incorporates the feedback that was received. We were pleased to be able to get the original artist to return and complete these designs that feature artwork for each 'face' of the bus shelter. The designs can be viewed on the right hand side of the page.

Officers will also be at the bus stop on the following days to have a chat about the design:

• 1.30pm-3.30pm Thursday 8 October
• 1.30pm-3.30pm Monday 12 October

Feedback provided during the first phase of consultation:

• 7 online submissions via Your Say Ideas Board
• 12 people provided feedback in-person
• Artwork themes included Aunty Gloria, seaside/ ocean, Aboriginal artwork, food/eating, Busselton Jetty, Animals, highlight Busselton's wildlife

The concepts feature "postcards of Busselton" highlighting the connection to the coast, iconic locations and artwork, and Auntie Gloria, who is a regularly seen at the bus stop.
