Update June 2025

Further works will shortly be underway at Holgate Reserve until the end of August (weather permitting), following from the recent tennis court resurfacing project and the coastal path upgrades.

The upcoming works will include:

• Installation of a new all-access playground, making the space more inclusive and enjoyable for everyone
• Provision for shade sails
• Earthworks and irrigation within the reserve area
• Replacement turf
• New BBQ and picnic furniture

Please note, there will be site fencing erected within the park, and temporary closure of car bays immediately adjacent the reserve to allow for construction access.

We acknowledge the strong community interest in having toilet facilities at the Reserve, however, as we are still investigating options and costs for sewer connection requirements we do not currently have a budget allocation for the installation of toilets.
