Re-Create

Coming soon – proposed place-making workshop to be announced for late 2018.

The term ‘place-making’ describes a collective range of ways to improve an identified place or space, often discussed as an approach that can create an active and vibrant town or city centre.

Common examples of place-making include urban artworks, events, markets, pop-up vendors, parklets and community gardens. The intent is often to create interest through ongoing change, as well as trial of quicker, lighter and cheaper approaches to testing potential permanent improvements.

To register your interest in the workshop, please contact William Hosken, Strategic Planner on william.hosken@busselton.wa.gov.au or 9781 0444.
