What is the Noise Management Plan?
A document that outlines the way in which the City manages airport operations and the potential noise impacts on the community.
Why am I being asked to comment on the proposed changes to the Busselton-Margaret River Airport’s Noise Management Plan (2022)?
The Environmental Protection Authority (EPA) regulates operations at the Airport through conditions including the Noise Management Plan (NMP). The NMP (2022) has been reviewed and a number of amendments have been proposed and the community is being invited to comment on the draft NMP (2025); this is your opportunity to comment.

Are there any changes to the Standard Hours of Operations?
No. The review of the NMP does not include any changes to the Standard Hours of operations, Noise Assessment or Noise Amelioration criteria.
