Update 8 June 2026:

Consultation has now closed. Officers will review comments and prepare signage designs for delivery.

The new signage is expected to be rolled out ahead of the summer 2026/27 season.

As part of the Council’s February 2026 decision on Dog Beach Exercise Areas, the City is seeking expressions of interest from community members to take part in a workshop focused on signage design for our dog beaches, beach access paths, and sporting grounds.

The workshop will include:

  • A breakdown of our 2025 signage audit
  • An overview of feedback previously received on signage
  • Identifying preferred locations for signage relating to dog beaches, beach access paths, and sporting grounds
  • Exploring different signage designs

To be held in early June, expressions of interest should be emailed to city@busselton.wa.gov.au with the subject heading: ‘Dog signage workshop’ by 5.00pm 29 May 2026.

If you are unable to attend the workshop but would like to contribute ideas/concepts/designs, you may do so below. Online consultation will close 7 June 2026.
