The City of Busselton has received an application to use and/or develop land for the following purpose and public comments are invited.
PROPERTY: Lot 205 PLAN 48398 No 7396 Bussell Highway METRICUP WA
PROPOSED DEVELOPMENT: Tourist and Visitor Accommodation (Chalets x5 and Signage)
The proposed ‘Tourist and visitor accommodation’ development consists of the following elements:
Five (5) one-bedroom chalets, each with an approximate height of 3.1m and a floor area of 44m2
A setback to the chalets of 128m from the northern lot boundary, 129m from the eastern lot boundary, and 205m from Bussell Highway
Vehicle access points to Becket Road and Bussell highway
Two (2) entry statements (one at each access point)
One parking space per chalet
One water tank per chalet
In considering an application for development approval, the local government shall have due regard to the matters to be considered under cl 67 of the Planning and Development (Local Planning Schemes) Regulations 2015 (Deemed Provisions) and apply the principles of orderly and proper planning.
Details of the proposal are available under the Application Documents, or they are also available for inspection between the hours of 8.30am and 4.30pm at the City’s Administration Centre, 2 Southern Drive, Busselton; and can be accessed via the computers at the Busselton and Dunsborough Libraries.
