The City of Busselton has received a Development application to use and/or develop land for the following purpose and public comments are invited.

PROPOSED DEVELOPMENT: Use not Listed – Tourist and Visitor Accommodation (6x Chalets) – Special Control Area
As result of a recent amendment to the Planning and Development (Local Planning Schemes) Regulations 2015 (the Regulations) made by the State Government the land use “Chalet” has been deleted in the model provisions and replaced with “Tourist and Visitor Accommodation”. While the City has initiated a Scheme Amendment (Amendment 61 AMD21/0061 - Local Planning Scheme Amendment No.61 | Your Say Busselton) to incorporate these changes into the City’s Local Planning Scheme No. 21 currently, as it is not a land use listed within the Scheme, it is treated as a Use Not Listed and is being advertised as a “Complex” development application in accordance with the Regulations.
The application proposes a new “Tourist and Visitor Accommodation” development comprising 6 Chalets, associated water tanks and car parking
