The City of Busselton has received an application to use and/or develop land for the following purpose and adjoining property owner comments are invited.

PROPERTY: Lot 21 (No.21/7) Marrinup Drive YALLINGUP WA 6282

PROPOSED DEVELOPMENT: Use Not Listed (Cellar Doors Sales) - Special Control Area

A Development (planning) Application has been received to incorporate Cellar Door Sales (wine tasting area) to the existing building currently operating as Studio Bistro & Gallery.

Cellar Door Sales is not a land use listed under Table 1 - Zoning Table of the City of Busselton Local Planning Scheme No. 21 and therefore is required to be assessed as a ‘Used Not Listed” and is required to be advertised in accordance with the Planning and Development Regulations 2015 as a ‘complex’ application.

The application proposes a wine tasting area from the existing art gallery space and alfresco area. The land use will also utilise existing storage area which will not be accessible to the public.

The inclusion of the cellar door sales/wine tasting will be available to the public and patrons of the art gallery but will be separate from the existing restaurant.

The applicant proposes varied operating hours within the period of 10am -5pm Monday to Sunday.

Please be aware that details of your submission may be made available to the applicant for the opportunity to respond. In certain instances, your submission may also be used to form part of a Council report making it a public document.
