The City of Busselton has received an application to use and/or develop land for the following purpose and adjoining property owner comments are invited.

PROPERTY: Lot 2370 (No.665) Boallia Road JINDONG WA 6280

PROPOSED DEVELOPMENT: Brewery (Additions/Alterations - part retrospective, expansion of irrigation of waste water and increase of production capacity to 2.5million litres of beer)

The City is writing to you as an adjoining or nearby landowners, to inform you of the above mentioned proposal and invite you to make a written submission concerning additions/alterations to a Brewery located at the above mentioned property.

Under the City of Busselton Local Planning Scheme No. 21, a Brewery is an ‘A’ use in the Rural zone, meaning that the use is not permitted unless the local government has exercised its discretion by granting development approval after giving special notice in accordance with clause 64 of the Deemed Provisions.

The following works form part of this development application –

• Additions/Alterations - part retrospective – including but not limited to:

Existing Unapproved Structures

1. Extensions to existing brewing sheds;
2. 4 x Outdoor fermenters;
3. 3 x Sea Containers;
4. 3 x Waste water tanks and filter.

Proposed additional structures

1. 4 x Additional outdoor fermenters
2. 2 x Additional water tanks
3. 2 x wash down tanks
4. 5 x additional waste water tanks

• Expansion of irrigation of waste water including the inclusion of two new irrigation areas; and
• Increase of production capacity to 2.5million litres of beer per annum.
