Community Health and Wellbeing Plan 2026-2031
Help shape a healthier, more connected Busselton
The City of Busselton is developing a Community Health and Wellbeing Plan 2026–2031, aligned with the State Public Health Plan, to guide future programs and initiatives that promote physical, mental, social and environmental wellbeing across our community.
This plan is about supporting healthier lifestyles, fostering social connection, and creating environments that help everyone thrive, and we want your input.
How the Plan is being developed
We’re following a two-step process:
- Create a health and wellbeing profile of our local community (current stage)
- Develop an action plan aligned with State Public Health Priorities
Over the past six months, we have held workshops with internal staff and local public health and industry stakeholders to establish an understanding of the local health profile. We have also reviewed feedback from the 2024 Catalyse MARKYT scorecard to better understand current services, strengths and areas for improvement.
Now we want to hear from you
The City is inviting community members to share their personal experiences and perspectives on health and wellbeing in Busselton. Your feedback will help shape the next phase of planning and guide further workshops with industry stakeholders in early 2026, followed by another round of community consultation.
Your feedback will help us:
- Shape the format of the final plan
- Identify key health and wellbeing issues and concerns in the community
- Prioritise areas for action and improvement
By completing the survey, your feedback will help shape a plan that reflects what matters most to our community to support a healthier, more connected Busselton for everyone.
Consultation opens Monday 17 November 2025 and closes 4:00pm, Sunday 14 December 2025
After consultation has concluded and the Plan has been developed, Council will be asked to consider the Community Health and Wellbeing Plan 2026-2031 in mid-2026. Every submission helps shape our community. Elected Members will review all feedback, officer advice, and community input before making a decision.
Alternative survey formats are available upon request.
