Busselton and Dunsborough CBD - Forum

The City organised for business owners, property owners, property managers and business organisations to gather to discuss the CBD and the prospects for refreshing our 'brand' and backing this up with better services. The Forum is the first step in working better together and there has been much interest. Some great suggestions and inspiration to try new things will provide plenty of encouragement to businesses to explore ways to improve business, develop better models for service and explore cost management opportunities. Hopefully we can identify ways for people to become organised to work together into the new year.

Understanding the Local Economy

Our first forum on November 22nd involved state and local government, big and small businesses and industry advocates. It considered the bigger picture of what influences and constitutes a local economy. Our discussion and a series of workshop sessions identified some perceptions about the economy and will now be tested against our survey results to see how well we know the strengths and weaknesses of our local economy; also to pinpoint niches and opportunities for new business and better focus. Participants are welcome to put their ideas and opinions forward as part of the Your Say dialogue.
