How does the City define arts, culture and heritage?
Art:
Arts refers to the expression or application of human creative skill and imagination, typically in visual forms (such as painting, sculpture, drawing) or performing arts (such as music, dance, theatre).
Culture:
Culture includes the beliefs, customs, traditions, values, social institutions, and achievements that define the way of life of a particular group of people at a specific time.
Heritage:
Heritage refers to the aspects of culture passed down through generations, preserved in the present, and safeguarded for the future.
