Notice is hereby given that the local government of the City of Busselton has prepared the above mentioned Scheme Amendment No. 53.

This amendment to Local Planning Scheme No.21 clarifies that advertising signage which is in anyway illuminated, animated or digital is not exempt from the requirement for development approval. To achieve this outcome the amendment will insert an additional clause to Schedule 9 (B). Signage of this nature could still be considered through the development application process but it would not be exempt.

THIS AMENDMENT IS AVAILABLE FOR INSPECTION IN ORDER TO PROVIDE AN OPPORTUNITY FOR PUBLIC COMMENT AND IT SHOULD NOT BE CONSTRUED THAT FINAL APPROVAL WILL BE GRANTED.
